In The Second Embrace

Inspiration:
We often question ourselves in loneliness and self-inhibition. Whether it is a personal problem or not, we end up shouldering the problem onto ourselves.
Loneliness is like a raft in the ocean, the raft rises and falls in the water, it has no anchor.
Thoughts:
The second time we embrace ourselves, it is like having a anchor. Self-comforting, self-embracing, self-accepting.
Research has shown that the skin is self-aware, self-growing, and a self-reproducing organ. Even without control from the brain, skin cells can still adjust to different circumstances. The skin is like our second self; it is trying to adapt to the environment and is ever changing. “Skin” is the one that hugs us and protects as like an armor.

Close up
Our skin is our largest organ which protects us from the overwhelming world. It protects us from getting hurt and cheers for us when we need confort and a place to feel safe.
